Please spare a thought for our infrastructure workers

As the Island takes a hit from this storm, make sure you and your families stay safe, but please spare a thought for our infrastructure workers who will be out in this awful weather, trying to limit the damage which is done, protect homes and roads and eventually get to mending what is broken.

Sadly these are people who have seen their jobs outsourced, pay cut and sometimes put on zero-hours contracts, because of the heartless and economically illiterate policy pursued by Deputy Eddie Noel last year.  

When doing a tough job like this, workers deserve to be treated with respect by our government.
