We will support every Islander to retire with dignity and respect. Those who have worked all their lives deserve to be supported by their government to enjoy an affordable and secure retirement. We will:

  • 1Introduce an enhanced tax allowance for pensioners, similar to the one that was abolished under a previous government.
  • 2Expand eligibility for the ‘Pension Plus’ scheme providing cheaper access to doctors, opticians and dentists.
  • 3Provide comfortable housing for those looking to downsize in their communities.
